Two Individuals Accused Over Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Attack

Two individuals are now facing charges in connection with a suitcase robbery where a believed to be irritant spray resulted in harm at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two counts of robbery and charges for deploying a toxic agent, as confirmed by court officials.

The charges follow an probe of an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on the weekend. Earlier that day, two women were robbed of their suitcases stolen after exiting a car park lift, according to law enforcement.

A young child was among those injured in the event. Several persons required hospital care and were later discharged.

This event – described by police as was a standalone event and not considered a terror-related act – caused train delays and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
