Debated United States-funded GHF Aid Organization Ends Relief Activities

The debated, US and Israel-backed GHF aid organization says it is concluding its aid operations in the Gaza region, subsequent to approximately 180 days.

The group had earlier paused its multiple aid distribution centers in Gaza subsequent to the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel took effect in recent weeks.

The GHF aimed to avoid UN systems as the primary provider of relief to Palestinian residents.

United Nations organizations and other humanitarian groups declined to participate with its approach, stating it was questionable and hazardous.

Hundreds of Palestinians were killed while trying to acquire nourishment amid chaotic scenes near GHF's sites, primarily from Israeli forces, according to the UN.
